Acceptable Use Policy

Our approach

We want CheapVids to be a safe place to create. This policy lists what you may not create or do. It is part of the Terms of Service.

The rules apply to prompts, uploaded images and results, on the web and in the API.

Never allowed

Child sexual abuse material and sexualised content involving minors. Never allowed, in any prompt, upload or result. This covers anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18, whether real or not. We close accounts that try to make this content, and we may do so right away and without warning.

Intimate images without consent. Do not create or edit intimate or sexual images of a real person without their consent. Do not create realistic fake images or videos (deepfakes) of a real person without their consent.

Also not allowed

  • Explicit sexual content. The AI providers behind CheapVids do not allow it, and neither do we.
  • Real people. Do not use photos of a real person unless you have the right to use them and, where needed, that person's permission.
  • Copyright and impersonation. Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks or other rights, and do not pretend to be another person or organisation.
  • Extreme violence, hate and scams. Do not create content that glorifies extreme violence, that spreads hate against people for who they are, or that is meant to scam or deceive people.

Abuse of the service

  • Do not use automation to get around limits.
  • Do not create several accounts to claim the free trial more than once.
  • Do not resell or share API keys.
  • Do not try to disrupt, overload or break into the service.

How we enforce this policy

Automatic filters check prompts before they are sent to an AI provider. The providers also moderate content on their side. The same filters apply to the prompt improvement tool.

Filters can be wrong. If a harmless prompt is blocked, please rephrase it. When a prompt is blocked, or the AI provider declines a request, you are not charged credits.

Violations are recorded against the account. Repeated violations in a short time lead to suspension, and this can happen automatically. A suspension does not by itself entitle you to a refund.

We may look at prompts and results that are connected to a report or a violation.

Reporting content

You can report content in three ways: the Report button on a result in the app, the report page (no account needed), or our contact channel, Telegram: t.me/CheapVids_Com.

We review valid reports and remove content that breaks this policy within 48 hours after we receive the report. Removal covers the files that CheapVids holds. We cannot delete copies held by other parties.

We do not tell the account owner who made the report. If you are the victim of intimate images shared without consent, please use the report page and choose the reason that matches.
